Prepared with the farm’s own Calendula petals which have been solar infused into organic extra virgin olive oil for 40 days. Calendula is a remarkable herb. It soothes inflammation, helps skin heal quickly and fights bacteria. Calendula is believed to increase collagen metabolism. This herb has been used externally on slow healing wounds, cuts, burns, bruises and ulcerations. It is also useful for bug bites, sunburn, diaper rash, stretch marks, varicose veins and oily, greasy skin. One caution: while Calendula can help prevent an infection from occurring, do not use this ointment where an infection already exists.
