Frankincense (Boswellia carterii)

Frankincense is an intriguing combination of scents – sweet and spicy and resinous.  This oil is often used to provide emotional and spiritual support.  In many cultures it’s used to slow breath and heart rate and thus is extremely useful in a meditation blend.  It’s also a nourishing skin oil which soothes irritated and damaged skin and tones and balances the skin’s natural sebum production.
