Black Spruce (Picea mariana)

One whiff of black spruce will transport you to the mountain tops.  It’s a wonderful oil to have on hand when dealing with a cold or the flu.  Black spruce is truly a powerhouse when it comes to respiratory conditions helping relief congestion and coughs.  It also has pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties which makes it an excellent addition to massage oils.  Besides smelling heavenly, it has a lovely calming effect and can soothe sore muscles.
